Year: 2016
Material: found objects, digital videos, strings, fabric, hair, nails.
Exhibition History:
- The Twenty-fifth Hour In A Day, MFA Solo Show, UCLA Broad Art Center, Los Angeles, CA, April 26 - 28, 2016.
Project Description:
An unknown's story is told through re-assembled found objects and excess body coverings (e.g. lost hair, trimmed fingernails, shed skin). The installation combines expressions of love and evil, nostalgia and memory, time and loss. When her body is watched under close investigation, pores, hair, rashes, and cuticles are enlarged. Her view of her body is microscopic.
